The Florida Realtors site reported yesterday that President Obama met with top bankers at the White House Monday, urging them to help the economy by extending loans to good borrowers.  He also chiding banks for lobbying against tougher regulations and reminded them that it was “the American people” who saved them from “a predicament largely of their own making.” 

The US Government has dolled out $370 billion to aid the trouble financial institutions as well as the auto companies.  This bail out came with strings attached including pay restritions.  

$116 billion has been repaid by banks who have restored thier profitabliility.  READ MORE
